Alyssa Hoppe

Alyssa is a settler living on Anishinabeg territory in Duluth, Minnesota. While earning her B.A. in Political Leadership at Metropolitan State University, Alyssa received training through Campus Camp Wellstone and interned with Amnesty International. Since graduation, she has fulfilled two AmeriCorps service terms, completed the Organizing Apprenticeship Project for Racial Equity in MN, and worked on campaigns with diverse organizations like Community Action Duluth, Churches United in Ministry, TakeActionMN and the Healthy Duluth Area Coalition. Alyssa works with Honor the Earth and MN350 as a community organizer supporting the development of resilient communities and the protection of life, natural resources, and the economy from extreme energy and mining.
