Claire Curran is the Campaign Coordinator at Minnesota Interfaith Power & Light where she leads the Policy Advocacy team and works with faith communities to take energizing and effective action on climate change. Claire graduated with a BA in Religious Studies from Gustavus Adolphus College, where she had the opportunity to spend a semester abroad in India, which crystallized her commitment to climate justice.
Claire has a strong background in organizing, having coordinated the Lutheran Coalition for Public Policy’s Clean Energy Campaign, and most recently, directed Environment California’s Campaign Office in Los Angeles. Claire is passionate about intersectionality, storytelling, and creating spaces for people to join their deep gladness with the world’s deepest needs. Claire is based in Minneapolis where she takes advantage of incredible bike paths, 10,000 lakes, and a vibrant local music scene.
