Kate Davenport

Kate is Director of Business Development for Eureka Recycling, a zero-waste non-profit, and develops programs and partnerships for recycling and composting that balance cost, convenience, and environmental benefit.  Kate co-developed operations for Envirelation, the first commercial organics collection service in Washington DC.  As Program Director for EcoVentures International, Kate provided microfinance and development services for community based enterprises in the areas of sustainable energy; waste reduction, recycling and composting; and sustainable agriculture.  Raised a Quaker, Kate grew up learning and working in environments based around consensus based decision make, which has inspired work into the world of collaborative decision making.
